Boot with the Install Redhat Enterprise Linux CD/DVD

Type “linux rescue” It will bring you to a sh3.0# prompt. The partition of your harddisk is mounted under /mnt/sysimage.

1. cd /mnt/sysimage
2. chroot .
3. passwd root
4. New password for root
5. Retype new password
6. Done
